Tiziano Guardini at the 56th edition of Filo

Sustainability, recycling of materials, circularity are central themes for textile industry, and they will cover the whole 56th edition of Filo as a fil rouge.
The ‘Dialoghi di Confronto’ of the Networking Area of Filo are particularly focused on sustainability (http://filo.it/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Dialoghi-di-confronto-2.pdf).
The ‘Dialogo di Confronto’ (scheduled on the 29th of September at noon) with Tiziano Guardini as protagonist is highly awaited, also thanks to its attracting title – “Tiziano Guardini dialoga con la natura” (‘Tiziano Guardini dialogues with nature’) – which is at the same time explicit and cryptic, especially for the innumerable interpretations that it may have.
Tiziano Guardini, independent fashion designer, has developed an innovative and deeply aware approach to fashion – ECOuture – based on the concepts of tailoring, innovation, respect, and experimentation.
Guardini’s work puts at the centre the research: research for special materials which are particularly sustainable and cruelty free, research for processing, shapes, and contents, where ethics and aesthetics represent the essential duo. Nature is then a starting point but also an arrival point; it doesn’t change its characteristics transforming itself in a luxury and contemporary product, impalpable and of matter at the same time. The creative work by Tiziano Guardini becomes then expression of a global awareness where to come back to life in harmony with nature.
During the ‘Dialoghi di Confronto’ at Filo, the approach of Guardini will be exactly this one: listening to nature and dialoguing with it, since – as the stylist states – ‘we are all connected… human being and nature, as if there was really a separation’.
