“The Thread of the Supply Chain: Synergies and Added Value to Compete in the Global Market” was the title chosen by Filo for the Opening Ceremony of the 65th edition. The first part featured an introductory speech by Paolo Monfermoso, Responsible of Filo, followed by remarks by Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle, Paolo Barberis Canonico, President of the Biella Industrial Union, and Matteo Masini, Head of the Consumer Goods Office, ITA – Agency for the Promotion Abroad and the Internationalization of Italian Businesses. Meanwhile, the Italian Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, and the Vice President of the Piedmont Region, Elena Chiorino, sent video messages. The discussion then moved into full swing with a round table discussion featuring: Rossano Bisio, Fabric Designer for Filo; Marco Bortolini, Vice President of UIB for the Development of Industrial Supply Chains; Dario Casalini, Founder of Slow Fiber; and Vera Veri, Director of Equity Investments at Simest.
