The 65th edition of Filo, the International Yarns and Fibers Exhibition, concluded with good results. Exhibitor and visitor numbers remained at the same levels as the corresponding February 2025 edition, despite some logistical difficulties caused by the simultaneous hosting of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.

The closer collaboration with Lineapelle proved positive and fruitful, as evidenced by the large number of buyers who visited both fairs, thus gaining a more comprehensive overview of the manufacturing industry’s offerings for the upcoming season.

The flow of visitors over the two days of Filo65 was constant, rewarding the hard work of the exhibiting companies who presented collections of the highest quality, in terms of style, innovation, and research.

Commenting on the results of Filo65, Paolo Monfermoso, Responsible of Filo, highlighted several points: “Despite a challenging context, the 65th edition of Filo closed with positive results. Filo confirms its position as a benchmark fair, thanks to the high quality of the products offered by exhibitors and the professionalism and quality of its visitors. This was not a foregone conclusion because the sector, despite signs of improvement, continues to deal with the uncertainties caused by the international geopolitical situation, compounded by some logistical inconveniences caused by the coincidence with the Milan-Cortina Olympics. This was an edition that once again highlighted the value of the textile supply chain in its entirety and complexity. This is demonstrated by Filo’s decision to strengthen its synergy with Lineapelle, which we believe has met the needs of the sector, and is confirmed by the first-hand experiences of those who work in the textile industry every day, heard in the speeches at the Opening Ceremony and in many of this edition’s “Dialoghi di Confronto.” A fine example of long-term collaboration along the supply chain is our “Made in Filo” fabric collection, now in its third edition.” Mr. Monfermoso concludes: “The good results achieved by Filo65 in a difficult context are an incentive to work with commitment and energy to create an even more effective next edition: the appointment with Filo66 is in September 2026.”
