The absolute excellence of the yarns and materials exhibited at Filo has made the fair an undisputed benchmark in the international trade fair scene. Booths show innovative, high-quality collections that enhance the creativity of those who will use them to produce fabrics and finished garments.

However, Filo also plays another role, stimulating encounters and exchanges between producers and their customers and, more generally, between textile and fashion professionals, wherever they are located along the supply chain.
That’s why, at each edition, Filo gives floor to paramount topics for textile’s future, in the round table of the opening ceremony as well in the “Dialoghi di Confronto” held over the two days of the fair. The “Dialoghi di Confronto” talks feature leading figures in the industry and particularly interesting company case histories, focusing on highly topical issues such as sustainable production, cutting-edge technologies and responsible innovation in textile.

At the 64th edition of Filo, the agenda of “Dialoghi di Confronto” proposes seven meetings, ranging from the search for new materials to the digitalisation of companies, including conscious communication.
Let’s take a closer look at Filo64’s “Dialoghi di Confronto”. Three meetings are scheduled for the first day of Filo – September 23, 2025.

The first takes place at 2:00 PM with Elisabetta Invernici (journalist) interviewing designer Gisele Claudia Ntsama in a talk titled “High Fashion and Sustainability: Hemp Yarn Takes Center Stage.”

Following at 2:30 PM, a talk dedicated to business management technologies: “Digitizing Product Data: The Key to Being Your Customers’ First Choice,” hosted by Ovido, a data collection and management consultancy company specializing in textiles. The speaker will be Loredana Moimas (Ovido founding partner).

The final meeting of the day will take place at 3:00 PM: “The New Era of Fibers: Knowledge, Traceability, Research, and Sustainability,” a panel discussion featuring Paolo Pezzin (Senior Material Manager, Napapjri – VF Corporation Group), Giorgia Carissimi (Albini Next Responsible & Albini Group Sustainability Manager, Supima®), Ettore Pellegrini (Marketing & Sales Manager, Asahi Kasei Fibers Italia – Bemberg by Asahi Kasei), Fausto Pozzi (Creative & Product Development Manager Brunello), and Letizia Scopelliti (Business Development Manager, Haelixa). Moderator: Giusy Bettoni (CEO and Founder of C.L.A.S.S.).

The second day of the “Dialoghi di Cofronto” begins at 10:00 a.m. with “Man-Made & Recycled Fibers: Implementation of the ZDHC Guidelines and Future Perspectives,” featuring Carlo Covini (Business Manager Italy & Switzerland, Lenzing) and Marta Simonetti (Regional Manager – Europe, ZDHC). Moderator: Elisa Gavazza (Quality Management & Assurance Director, ZDHC).

At 10:30 a.m., the discussion will focus on “InsideOut – Values in Clear: Why Trust is the New Luxury.” The discussion aims to understand how languages, tools, and informed choices can redefine the relationship between fashion and the public. Participants include Giusy Bettoni (CEO and Founder of C.L.A.S.S.), Chiara Tronville (Fashion and Lifestyle Journalist), and Manuela and Simone Gaslini (Sales Manager and Technical Production Manager, Filatura Astro). Moderator: Chiara Puglisi (journalist, SkyTg24).

At 11:30 a.m., the focus shifts to marketing with “International Prospects and Potential Markets for the Textile Supply Chain,” presented by Omar Safi, Service Manager, Ceipiemonte MARKET INTELLIGENCE Office.

Finally, at 12 p.m. on September 24th, a look at textile technologies. Hosted by Inoma, a Biella-based software development and IT support company, the talk “ERP Evolution: the new software that redesigns textile and manufacturing production processes” presents a new platform specifically designed for textile companies. Speakers: Gianluca Giovanardi (CEO & Founder of Inoma), Marco Vallini (CTO & Cyber Security Manager, Inoma), and Adolfo Marchetti (Dyeing and Finishing Technician).

The 64th edition of Filo takes place on September 23rd and 24th at Fiera Milano Rho, Hall 14.
