“It was very interesting to participate in Filo to illustrate to companies in the upstream supply chain the implications and challenges that the new European legislation poses. The hope is that it is the beginning of a long collaboration between Filo and Euratex.” With these words Dirk Vantyghem, general director of Euratex, commented on his participation in Filo’s “Dialoghi di Confronto”, with the talk entitled “The future of the textile industry according to the new EU Strategy on sustainable textile products”.
The talk gave also the opportunity to illustrate the characteristics of RegioGreenTex, the project for the recycling of textile waste, of which the Piedmont Region is a partner for Italy.
