Italian Wool Trade Association (IWTA) is a protagonist of the “Dialoghi di Confronto”, which take place in the Networking Area of the 58th edition of Filo.

The appointment is on the 14th of September at 4 pm in the Networking Area of Filo with the talk “The long journey of regenerated wool”, led by Sauro Guerri, Vice President of the Association.

Entrepreneur at the head of a Prato company specializing in the recovery and finishing of textile waste, as well as IWTA vice president of, in his speech at the Filo’s “Dialoghi di Confronto”, Sauro Guerri will focus on the theme of sustainability and of wool regeneration, underlining how “in the search for greater sustainability, it is crucial to use common sense and not to dismantle centuries-old traditions and methods, without first thinking about how to replace them”.

Guerri will also address another important issue: a closer relation among wool districts: “Prato and Biella have common objectives and interests and together we can have more strength in all the institutions where it is necessary to bring the demands of our sector. For example, one goal is the revision of protocols, especially in the European context. Collaboration is also an imperative on another crucial issue for our future, education and training”.
