Great appreciation for “Vice-Versa”, the creative proposals of Filo64
Just a few days after its publication, Vice-Versa, the video portraying Filo64 product development proposals, is already a success.
The appreciation shown by professionals working in textile industry towards the creative proposals created for the 64th edition of Filo by Rossano Bisio, Fabric Designer, can be assessed by considering the high number of views on Filo website. However, beyond the excellent numbers, the extremely positive comments received by Filo, certify the great interest of the professionals for the proposals.
According to Paolo Monfermoso, manager of Filo: “After few days from the release of Vice-Versa, we have received many comments from exhibitors and other professionals working in the textile industry, who stressed two fundamental elements of our product development proposals: the great attention to technical aspects and the strong innovative content. These are the two aspects on which we have been focused for some editions; the fact that companies recognise and appreciate them is something which makes us proud. Indeed, it means that we have succeeded in meeting a real need of companies along the supply chain: emphasising technical aspects and strengthening technical skills of manufacturing industry, which otherwise risk being lost. This is the main idea which brought us to produce “Made in Filo”, our collection of fabric samples: the one presented at Filo64 will be inspired by Vice-Versa, and it will be produced in collaboration with our exhibitors, as usual.”
Through Vice-Versa, tradition merges with innovation to expand the aesthetic and functional language of textile and fashion industry. In this project, past speaks to the future, and innovation becomes the drive for an aesthetic and ethical change, where the real value lies in materials’ quality and in the artisanry of products. As Rossano Bisio explains: “From a technical point of view, we have worked with yarns to make the change in styles evident, mixing opposite aspects”.
The 64th edition of Filo is scheduled on the 23rd and 24th of September 2025 at Fiera Milano Rho – Hall 14.
