There’s exactly one week to go until the opening of the 64th edition of Filo, which will take place at Fiera Milano Rho – Hall 14 on September 23 and 24, 2025. On display there will be yarns and materials from companies that represent the excellence of Italian and international textile manufacturing.

Filo is also an opportunity to take stock of the current state of the textile sector and the challenges that lie ahead. Beginning with the opening ceremony of the 64th edition, held on Tuesday, September 23 at 10:30 a.m., and entitled “Innovation, Sustainability, Legality: the Future of Made in Italy”.

The Filo64 opening ceremony program includes introductory remarks by Paolo Monfermoso, responsible of Filo; Pier Francesco Corcione, General Manager of Unione Industriale Biellese; and Elena Chiorino, Vice President of the Piedmont Region.

The first part of the event will feature the Hon. Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Minister of the Environment and Energy Security; and Matteo Zoppas, President of Agency-ITA.

A round table will follow, featuring Mauro Chezzi, Deputy Director of Confindustria Moda and Representative of Retex.Green; Giovanni Marchi, President of MagnoLab; Francesca Rulli, Co-founder of Ympact and Founder of 4sustainability; and Luca Sburlati, President of Confindustria Moda. The debate will be moderated by Laura Ricardi, journalist, UIB Press Office.

Scanning a QR code specially generated by Filo’s digital services staff, international visitors and buyers will be able to follow the event in a translation into English.
