From the perspective of the supply chain that characterizes its activity, Filo has long decided to welcome organizations for the protection and promotion of natural fibers among its exhibitors. For the first time, the Cotton Egypt Association was present among these at the 60th edition of Filo. The Association was also the protagonist of one of the talks of the “Dialoghi di Confronto”. Khaled Schuman (Executive Director Cotton Egypt Association) and Piera Francesca Solinas (CSR Sustainability Manager Filmar) discussed how the sustainability and traceability of Egyptian cotton allow companies that use it not only to enhance a precious raw material, but also to provide more complete information about their products.
