The connection between color and matter is complex and, in textiles in particular, the two elements influence each other. It is an interaction that underlines the ability of matter to express itself by playing with brightness, with refraction, with colors, in search of captivating visual stimuli. At the 62nd edition of Filo, during the Dialoghi di Confronto, this complex and multifaceted relationship was discussed and analyzed in the talk entitled “Color in relation to materials” by Ornella Bignami (Art director Elementi Moda), Bibi Ronchi (Creative Director Chiron) and Sabine Le Chatelier Saunier (Textile Expert Consultant Alliance for European Flax-Linen & Hemp).
