Despite being under compulsory administration and looking for buyers for months (or even years), Alitalia continues to represent a brand icon of Italy.
That is why the new uniforms designed and created by one of the most important Italian stylist, Alberta Ferretti, make headlines. Especially if the official presentation will be held at Palazzo Reale in Milan on the 15th of June, in the midst of Men’s Fashion Week.
The new Alitalia uniforms designed by Alberta Ferretti envisage a soft blue suit exactly cut out for women, tightened at the waist by a belt and with details and foulard which recall fleet’s colours (ad also the Italian flag), and a man suit with tie and profiles with decoration.
The model wants to be elegant but also functional, able to match elegance and practicality both during flight and on land. The three commissioners of Alitalia – Luigi Gubitosi, Enrico Laghi and Stefano Paleari – wanted to point out that the collaboration with the Ferretti maison does not involve any outlay by the company since it is settled through air ticketing
