57th edition of Filo: the full schedule of “Dialoghi di confronto”

The “Dialoghi di confronto” are back to the 57th edition of Filo with a rich programme. The initiative consists of short talks, carried out by leading figures in the textile-fashion industry, designed to deal with current issues. During the two days of the 57th edition of Filo, the focus will be on sustainability and materials’ regeneration. Here follows the full programme. The Dialoghi di Confronto will be held in the Networking Area of Filo.
Wednesday, February 23
12 p.m.: “Storia di una famiglia nella moda: Trussardi e il suo territorio/The story about a family from fashion world: Trussardi and its territory” with Tomaso Trussardi.
2 p.m: “Lana: il futuro/Wool: the future” with Francesco Magri (Woolmark) and Fabrizio Servente (Woolmark)
3 p.m: “Innovazione responsabile per il consumatore contemporaneo/Responsible innovation for contemporary consumers” with Giusy Bettoni (C.L.A.S.S.)
“Le applicazioni contemporanee di Bemberg™ by Asahi Kasei per il guardaroba/ Bemberg™ by Asahi Kasei Contemporary applications for the wardrobe” with Ettore Pellegrini (Asahi Kasei Fibers Italia)
4 p.m: “Il lino, la fibra europea principale attore della transizione ecologica/Linen, the European fibre as protagonist of the ecological transition”, with Ornella Bignami (The European Confederation of Flax and Hemp/Celc), Adolfo Mandato (Safilin), Carlo Antonio Danzo (Danzo srl) and Silvia Emanuela Danzo (Danzo srl)
Thursday, February 24
11 a.m: “Il futuro sostenibile non è di chi lo immagina, è di chi lo fa/Sustainable future belongs to those who create it, and not to those who image it” with Marco De Silvestri (RadiciGroup – Advanced Textile Solutions)
12 p.m.: “Sostenibilità delle materie prime naturali/Sustainability of natural raw materials” – Presentation of the book for the centennial of Italian Wool Trade Association with Claudio Lacchio (Italian Wool Trade Association).
2 p.m: “From Forest to Filament to Forest” with Susanne Carls (Tencel Luxe, Lenzing AG).
3 p.m: “Cittadellarte Fashion B.E.S.T.: “Circulart” with Olga Pirazzi (Cittadellarte) and Juan Sandoval (artist).
We remind all participants that to access to the fair it is mandatory to request the entrance badge. At the entrance it will then be necessary to show a valid proof of anti-Covid vaccination.
The 57th edition of Filo will be held at MiCo – Milano Convention Centre on the 23rd and 24th of February 2022.
