The next Spring/Summer collection for weaving by Filati Buratti focuses natural and sustainable yarns. The company has developed different qualities of silk: for example, the “red eri” silk, a totally sustainable and no cruel wild silk characterized by its orange colour.
At Filo Filati Buratti proposes another sustainable fibre: the Himalayan nettle, mixed in intimate blend with mulberry or tussah silk. It is a fibre obtained from the stems of the giant nettles that grow wildly on the Himalayan mountains.
Soon it will be possible to have yarns with certifications GOTS-GRS-RWS in addition to the certificate standard 100 by OEKOTEX for the yarn dyed schappe 100% silk by Filati Buratti.
