THANKS TO TECNOSETA THE SILK SUPPLY CHAIN IS MADE IN ITALY
Silk yarn from a 100% made in Italy supply chain: a reality made possible thanks to Tecnoseta srl, an innovative startup based in the province of Rome, which has rebuilt the entire silk supply chain between Zagarolo and San Cesareo by focusing on the recovery of know-how, industrial automation, and the definition of a new territorial development model.
The design, construction, and development of a modular machinery line with high-tech value, are the keys to the Tecnoseta project. The search for innovative production methods and direct experimentation in sericulture are the cornerstones of an ambitious idea that has fully brought back to Italy the production of cocoons and raw silk thread 20/22 DEN.
Research, Development & Innovation are Tecnoseta’s distinguishing features, which since 2019 has been working to revive sericulture among Italy’s economic sectors.
