It is one of the most precious fibers, with a centuries-old tradition: silk. Can we think of producing it again in Italy today? Tecnoseta has reconstructed all the phases of the supply chain and has innovated its production technologies, opening up to the relaunch of an economic activity that is the foundation of Made in Italy.
As part of the Dialoghi di Confronto of the 62nd edition of Filo, Massimo Proia and Maddalena Mariani, respectively CTO and Project Manager of Tecnoseta, illustrated the values of a new model of area development based on sericulture, in the talk entitled “A silk that only speaks Italian. Relaunching a supply chain of excellence”.
