POLOPIQUÉ HIGHLIGHTS THE SUSTAINABLE CONTENT OF THE YARNS
Polopiqué, a vertical company based in northern Portugal, presents at the 62nd edition of FILO a collection inspired by the elements of our planet: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Core. Sustainability is a constant priority for Polopiqué, which is why the collection is strongly focused on sustainable fibers. Whether organic, recycled, or eco-friendly, all the fibers have sustainable attributes.
In the Earth theme, Polopiqué highlights natural plant and animal fibers, such as organic cotton, linen, hemp, pineapple, silk, wool, cashmere, and alpaca. In the Air theme, the company presents cellulosic fibers like Lyocell, Modal, Bamboo, and Seacell. In the Fire theme, we emphasize biodegradable fibers, such as PLA and Naia acetate. In the Water theme, it showcase recycled fibers, including recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and recycled polyamide. Finally, in the Core theme, Polopiqué presents our colorspun options, with a highlight on the Xlance filament.
