KARADAG: FROM TEXTILE WASTE TO NEW YARNS

Karadag Iplik was established in Uşak/Turkey and had been serving the textile industry since 1988. The production facility has 11000 meters area. The daily yarn production capacity of our facility is 21000 kg/day.

Karadag Iplik is a producer and exporter of recycled yarns made from textile wastes. The production starts with the collection and separation of textile wastes and continues tearing the textile waste into tiny pieces in fibres, blending the recycled fibres, drawframe and open-end rotor spinning. The firm produces different counts from NE 3/1 to NE 30/1 amidst knitting and weaving options. Blends mainly consist of acrylic, cotton, wool, linen, viscose and polyester types depending on the final usage of socks, towels, and fabrics. Particular colours are available according to customer requests. The recycled yarn are provided with Global Recycled Standard and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificates.
