In Hirasim’s catalog, metallic yarns acquire a very different appearance and function when twisted or centered with different yarns.
Metallic yarns of widths such as 1/32, 1/69, 1/100 and 1/127 are formed as a result of cutting 1 inch of polyester film of different thicknesses, coated with aluminum and epoxy protection on one or both sides, in different sizes.
Yarns cut in different sizes can be used in this way (M type), or by twisting 2×20 nylon or 20 denier polyester monofilament in S and Z mode.
Hirasim then produces a line of fancy yarns, which increases the aesthetic value of the final product with the particular structure and irregular appearance, different from simple and multi-ply yarns. The basis of the production of fancy yarns is to create distinctive features and combine them to obtain new structures. Within the technological possibilities, the only limiting factors for the design and production of fancy yarns are imagination and commercial acceptability.
