Since the beginning Elasten has been studying the possibility of making the elastic yarn as “green” as possible. The company did that producing patented stretch yarns in linen and hemp and using stretch Ecomade materials. The working process is namely sustainable. Now, the BFlex® era is born. This new patented production method creates yarns with natural elasticity. Moreover, the deriving hand-feel and surface of swatch or fabric are totally innovative, technical, fluid and unexpected. This method can be applied on all materials in any count both for third party work and for sale.

Recently Elasten has started collaborating with Fulgar Spa, leading company in the worlwide market of nylon yarns, using their innovative discoveries such as Biobased EVO nylon yarns or recycled QCYCLE of tires and many others both in the standard version and in the taslan version. Together, Elasten and Fulgar are building a 100% Italian synergy.
The mentioned yarns are used both in BFlex® pure or mixed with natural materials and in a stretch version, trying to offer the customers the highest quality and innovation.
Furthermore, current fashion trend is turning to a rediscovered elegance after years of almost excessive “comfort”. Many aspects remind the ‘90’s and everything seems to introduce standards of beauty which Elasten never stopped following. Starting from the elastic cotton and viscose obtained through the CORETWIST® technique (the stretch yarns of real top quality) to the well-known stretch recycled or Biobased synthetic yarns or to the open-end yarns.
