From Filo no. 57 “Believe in Young People”
“Believe in Young People” is the title Filo has chosen for the opening ceremony of the 57th edition.
The opening will take place in the
Trends Area of the Salon at 10.30 on Wednesday February 23, 2022.
“Believe in Young People” refer to a multiplicity of crucial issues for Italian manufacture, and especially textile industry: education and training, generational change in companies, intrinsic values of craftmanship to matched with more innovative research and care for sustainability.
The opening speeches will be by:
Paolo Monfermoso (manager of Filo) e Pier Francesco Corcione (President of ITS-TAM Biella)
The round table will be introduced and led by
Francesco Ferraris (President of Young Entrepreneurs – Sistema Moda Italia)

Paolo Monfermoso, Responsible for Filo, explains: “With the title ‘Believe in young people’ Filo gives the floor to young entrepreneurs and managers who decided to work in textile-apparel-fashion and accessories’ industry. They are best suited to explain to other young people the great opportunities of our industry, and, moreover, the satisfaction resulting from a job that finds new stimuli at any new season, and where education, craftmanship, excellence, creativity, passion have still a fundamental role.”
The 57th edition of Filo takes place on the 23rd and 24th of February 2022 at MiCo – Milan (via Gattamelata 5).
