\nFilo65 exhibitors are of the highest quality, showing collections characterised by such stylistic and technical elements that perhaps have never been seen before, in an exhibition which has always been distinguished by excellence either. This is a clear signal that textile industry is sending to the market: at difficult times, only increasingly high-quality products can foster growth and development within the industry.
\nNowadays, the word \u2018quality\u2019 includes and summarises many factors: raw materials, creativity, processes, environmental and social values, and customer service. The intention to reflect \u2018quality\u2019 in all its facets has made Filo an undisputed benchmark in the international trade fair scene. Starting from a premise: true \u2018quality\u2019 is built along the supply chain, making each step of manufacturing process valuable and useful by bringing its own expertise and creativity to the result.
\nWhile quality can be \u2018breathed\u2019 and touched first-hand at the booths and in the aisles of Filo65, the supply chain is the core of the debates which represent the added value of the exhibition. It begins with the Opening Ceremony, whose round table, animated by distinguished guests, has a significant title: \u2018The Thread of the Supply Chain: synergies and added value to compete in the global market\u2019. The theme of centrality then resounds in the \u2018Dialoghi di Confronto\u2019 panels.
\nThe \u2018Dialoghi di Confronto\u2019, organised by Filo each edition, aim at stimulating an in-depth exchange of ideas among textile and fashion professionals in relation to crucial issues concerning this industry\u2019s future. These are short meetings led by leading professionals working in this industry and sharing with the audience their experience or case histories of innovation and research in textile field.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Dialoghi di Confronto\u2019 of Filo65 address many issues for which a supply chain perspective is often essential: from sustainable production linked to ancient knowledge to collaboration along the production pipeline that generates innovation, from digitalisation to corporate cybersecurity, from sustainability, including responsible chemical management, to the definition of new values and new languages in dealing with producers and consumers, from the versatility of man-made fibres to the relationship among fashion, sport and health, which is particularly topical during the Olympic Winter Games.
\nBut let’s take a closer look at Filo65’s \u2018Dialoghi di Confronto\u2019. On the first day \u2013 February 11, 2026 \u2013 after the Opening Ceremony, three meetings are scheduled.
\nThe first one will begin at 2 p.m. introducing a topic that interests and involves the whole supply chain: \u201cInnovating production processes to improve performance: technologies and traceability for effective chemical management\u201d. Elisa Gavazza from ZDHC will dialogue with Maurizio Mancini and Rachele Cavicchioli from Tintoria Mancini.
\nAt 2.30 p.m., a whole supply chain will be presented: the one of native wools, in a talk entitled \u2018Native Wools: from local sheep farming to territories, customised supply chains and knowledge for contemporary textile industry\u2019. The speakers will be Patrizia Maggia from Agenzia Lane d’Italia; Andrea Dominici from mYak and Fibre Gentili; Felice Piacenza from Piacenza Group; Giuseppe Demelas from Mariantonia Urru; and Pierpaolo Duce, researcher from Cnr-Ibe for the Marlaine project. The moderator will be Giusy Bettoni from C.L.A.S.S.
\nAt 3.30 p.m., the discussion will broaden to include \u2018Visible and invisible values in the new generation wardrobe. A new language to communicate them, from the supply chain to the consumer\u2019. The discussion will be held by Giusy Bettoni from C.L.A.S.S. and InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S.; Dario Casalini from Maglificio Po s.r.l. – Oscalito 1936 and Slow Fiber; Giovanni Maria Conti from Politecnico di Milano; and Nicoletta Fasani, designer and president of CNA Milano. The discussion will be moderated by the journalist Maria Cristina Pavarini.
\nOn Thursday, February the 12th, the \u2018Dialoghi di Confronto\u2019 begin at 10 a.m. with a discussion on the digitisation of businesses in the talk \u2018Textiles in the age of data: processes, technology and new skills.\u2019. The protagonists are Gianluca Giovanardi, CEO of Inoma, and Marco Mazzoni, Head of the InomaTEX division.
\nThe program continues at 10.30 a.m. with the versatility of cellulose fibres in the talk \u2018From cotton feel to linen look: new possibilities with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres. Innovative cellulose solutions from Lenzing\u2019, led by Carlo Covini.
\nAt 11 a.m., the focus shifts to \u2018Creativity, Fashion and Sport: Responsibility, Performance and the Future.\u2019 The protagonists will be Maria Canella from Accademia Unidee, Olga Pirazzi, head of the Fashion Office at Cittadellarte, and the historian Elena Puccinelli. At 11.30 a.m., the focus is on technology once more with “Cybersecurity: the digital insurance that no one thinks about taking out. Megaweb reveals why it is important to protect our company now, before it’s too late!” The floor will be taken by Valentina Bonsignore from Megaweb – Citt\u00e0 Studi and Marco Vallini from Inoma.
\nThe last talk of Filo65, at 12 noon, will focus on the sharing of particularly interesting experience: \u2018Texploration by Magnolab: a case history of collaboration, innovation and growth\u2019. Marco Morchio from Magnolab maps out both the route and the results of an open call, which involved start-ups from different countries and sectors, aiming at bringing innovative skills to textile supply chain.<\/p>\n
The 65th edition of Filo is scheduled to be held on Wednesday the 11th and Thursday the 12th of February 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho, Hall 5.<\/p>\n
