Some foreign buyers came back to the fair trade.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n\u201cWe have not come back to normality yet, but signals are surely promising\u201d Alessandro Barberis Canonico, the President of Milano Unica, stated at the end of the 33rd edition. Encouraging signals resulted from the collections, rich in innovative textile proposals, starting from the Trend Area dedicated to the \u2018Magnificent Passions\u2019, where the contribution made by Filo through the sustainable yarns of FiloFlow project have been appreciated for the quality and the concreteness representing the centrality of an absolute excellent supply chain.<br \/>\nSigns of optimism have been evident also during the opening ceremony, far from rituals but really focused on discussing about the factual challenges of post-pandemic textile industry: sustainability, digitalisation, and higher flexibility, which should be managed through stronger collaboration and strategic cooperation among the companies belonging to the textile-apparel-fashion industry, also considering the needs for a more equitably distribution of the costs between upstream and downstream sectors.<br \/>\nMr. Alessandro Barberis Canonico, MU President, highlighted that \u201cthe fair trade is the privileged place where the projects develop, and they become dialogue between companies and clients.
