Filo, the International Yarns and Fibres Exhibition, welcomes you to its 65th edition.
The fair takes place in the exhibition venue of Fiera Milano Rho – Hall 5.

At Filo65 the synergy with Lineapelle brings the two leading textile trade shows together, sharing the same dates and exhibiting space. With this move, Filo once again underscores the value of the textile supply chain, supported by a solid and efficient trade fair system.

The 65th edition of Filo stands out for the extraordinary quality of the collections presented by exhibitors, Italian, European, and international companies selected for the excellence of their products and their commitment to the economic and social sustainability of their production. As it’s more than evident in the companies’ highlight products exhibited in the Trends Area and Quick Delivery Area.

Filo Sustainability Area is created in collaboration with C.L.A.S.S. At this edition, continuing with a vision of responsible innovation, it offers experiences and case histories on the theme of Native Wools, a true example of responsible and contemporary textiles, where tradition and innovation mutually reinforce each other, giving rise to solid, competitive, and locally rooted supply chains. The Sustainability Area also features InsideOut by C.L.A.S.S., a project created to highlight what often remains hidden in a piece of clothing: alongside the external values of aesthetics, performance, or touch, InsideOut considers and “communicates” other less visible parameters, from ethics to traceability and transparency, from health to circularity.

A large space at the 65th edition of Filo is dedicated to innovation, with Made in Filo at the forefront. This collection of fabrics was created and produced by Filo based on inspiration from Nexus (the fair’s product development proposals), using exhibitors’ yarns and the best manufacturing techniques.

At 11:00 a.m. today, February 11, the Opening Ceremony of the 65th edition of Filo will take place. The event’s title is “The Thread of the Supply Chain: Synergies and Added Value for Competing in the Global Market.” Introductory speeches by Paolo Monfermoso, responsible of Filo; Pier Francesco Corcione, General Manager of Unione Industriale Biellese; Elena Chiorino, Vice President of Regione Piemonte; Matteo Masini, Head of the Consumer Goods Office, ICE-Agency for the Promotion Abroad and Internationalization of Italian Businesses; and a video message from MP Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Minister of the Environment and Energy Security.
A round table discussion, moderated by Laura Ricardi, Head of Press Office of Unione Industriale Biellese. Speakers: Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle; Rossano Bisio, Fabric Designer for Filo; Marco Bortolini, CEO Di.Vè, Vice President of UIB for the Development of Industrial Supply Chains; Dario Casalini, CEO Oscalito 1936, Founder of Slow Fiber; and Vera Veri, Director of Equity Investments at SIMEST.

Throughout the two days of the fair, the Networking Area will feature a series of “Dialoghi di Confronto.” These short discussions, led by prominent figures in the textile and fashion industry, will address highly topical issues for the sector, primarily supply chain collaboration, sustainability, and traceability.
