Filo, the Exhibition of Yarns and Fibres, welcome you to the 58th edition.

The ideal starting point for visiting Filo is the Dialoghi Creativi Area, which offers the “highlights” of the exhibitors’ collections. From this edition it incorporates the Quick Delivery Area and “Un Filo per la Maglia”. The inspiration is taken from “Languages” proposed by Gianni Bologna (creativity and style responsible for Filo). By focusing attention on the product and its possible developments, the inspirations of Filo’s “Dialoghi Creativi” have a unique connotation in the panorama of textile fairs.

Totally dedicated to the “green” proposals of the exhibiting companies is the Sustainability Area, which gives space and prominence to Filo’s sustainability project, FiloFlow. In the Sustainability Area, a specific “Green” Guide Book is available to visitors – with the exhibiting companies that adhere to FiloFlow – and which accompanies the general guide book.

At 10.30 am today 14 September the appointment is with the opening ceremony of the 58th edition of Filo: “Sustainability and creativity: from new textiles to new fashion”. Speakers are: Paolo Monfermoso (Responsible for Filo), Pier Francesco Corcione (President of ITS TAM Biella), Elena Chiorino (Councilor for Education, Work, Vocational Training, Right to University Study of the Piedmont Region), Massimo Crivelli (designer) and Martino Midali (designer). To follow, the press conference for the presentation of the exhibition “Aesthetics ’70. Brunetta’s genius dialogues with Franco’s creativity”, set up exclusively for Filo.

The Networking Area is the stage for the “Dialoghi di Confronto”. They are short talks, led by illustrious personalities in the textile-fashion sector, which follow one another over the two days of the fair and address highly topical issues for the sector: in the foreground there is sustainability and the reuse of materials.

Filo is looking forward to welcoming you at Allianz MiCo – Milano Convention Center (via Gattamelata 5).
