The Opening Ceremony of the 66th edition of Filo is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, at 10:30 a.m. The event’s title is: “Weaving the Future: The Balance for a Stronger, More Competitive Textile and Fashion Supply Chain.”

The topic of an increasingly united, innovative, and responsible supply chain is one of the key challenges for the future of the textile-fashion industry. It’s therefore inevitable that it be discussed at the opening of a fair like Filo, which showcases the yarns and materials that form the basis of all future textile development.

The program for the Opening Ceremony of the 66th edition includes introductory remarks by Paolo Monfermoso, Head of Filo; Pier Francesco Corcione, General Manager of the Unione Industriale Biellese; Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle; Matteo Masini, Head of the Consumer Goods Office of ITA – Agency for the Promotion Abroad and Internationalization of Italian Companies. A round table will follow with the participation of Michele Pozzi, Sales Director of Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale; Cesare Cigolini, Manager of Achille Pinto; Stefano Aglietta, Italfil spa, President of the Spinning Section of Unione Industriale Biellese; Marco Bortolini, CEO of Di.Vè, Vice President of Unione Industriale Biellese; Patrizia Salemi, Head of HR at Vimar 1991; and Sergio Tamborini, Past President of Confindustria Moda. The discussion will be moderated by Laura Ricardi, Head of the Unione Industriale Biellese Press Office.
