Varvaressos presents at the 51st edition of Filo a collection where sustainability leads the way.
The Varvaressos cotton yarn family consists of Supreme Green Cotton: non-Gmo cottonseeds, cultivated with sustainable practices in European family farms, with up to 40% less water consumption, traceable and transparent, with a reduced CO2 footprint. The ideal raw material for spinning yarns for the environmentally conscious textile chain.
Another Varvaressos proposal is Premium Pima Cotton: extra long staple cotton, cultivated with recycled water by drip irrigation system which saves more than 50% of water consumption. Premium quality yarns offer to the fabric a soft touch, durability, rich deep colours, smooth appearance. Supima Cotton is the world’s finest cottons. American-grown ELS cotton, farmed using state-of-the-art technology and processes with as little impact on the environment as possible. Strong fiber, high-quality yarns, softer fabrics with brilliant colours for longer-lasting products.
Varvaressos also offers cellulose yarns made from sustainable Lenzing fibers. The yarns are perfect for luxurious fabrics with a silky touch, smooth flow and a perfect absorption and release of moisture.
Varvaressos also add a wide range of corespun, slub, multicount and multitwist yarns, in a variety of raw materials and counts.
