The countdown for the 46^th edition of Filo has started: there are just three weeks to the opening of International Exhibion of Yarns and Fibres, that will be held in Milan on the 28^th – 29^th of September 2016 at Palazzo delle Stelline. While the attention for high-range yarns collections exhibited during the fair is growing, the main focus is also on the convention-inauguration that Filo organises together with the Italian Trade Agency.

“Sul filo del design” is the title of the convention-inauguration organised by Filo and ITA-Agency, held at 2.30pm on the 28^th of September 2016 at Sala Pirelli within Palazzo delle Stelline.

The aim of the meeting is to highlight how real innovation, within textile industry, could arise only from the solid roots of knowledge and tradition that distinguish Italian companies. Therefore, after welcoming greetings by Michele Scannavini, President of ITA-Italian Trade Agency, Carlo Piacenza, President of Unione Industriale Biellese, will officially launch the 46^th edition of Filo. Then, Gianfranco Di Natale, General manager of Sistema Moda Italia, Marco Bardelle, President of PoinTex – Polo di innovazione tessile and Danilo Craveia, President of Centro Rete Biellese – Archivi Tessili, will deliver their speeches.

During the second part of the convention, another important aspect of company’s innovation will be discussed: research for new business opportunities on various foreign markets, especially Asian ones…
