The 45th edition of Filo, the yarns and fibres’ international exhibition, held on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2016 at Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan, has been certainly positive. Exhibitors’ collections were particularly appealing, resulting from continuous research and innovation’s activities, and decision-making and competence of buyers have shown to be equally high. At the end of the exhibition, visitors’ number has noticed a further increase, especially that concerning foreign ones.
Once again supply and demand for high range yarns have met successfully at Filo, the yarns and fibres’ international exhibition. Paolo Monfermoso, Filo manager, confirms: “The 45th edition of Filo has closed in a certainly positive atmosphere. Visitors’ flow has been continuous along the two days of the exhibition, particularly in the first day, when the number of buyers has been higher than expected. Our exhibitors represent the top range of yarn producers and they confirm they have received a high number of both Italian and foreign visitors, who had shown a real interest for their collections. The increase of foreign visitors – together with the increase of foreign exhibitors (that today account for 30% out of the total) – represents an early result in our effort to widen and make more efficient our communication, in particular towards markets offering interesting opportunities for exhibiting companies. In pursuing this goal, we have been supported by the Italian Trade Agency-ITA, promoting the arrival of foreign buyers’ delegations to the fair: in this edition they were coming from Japan, Turkey, France, UK, Spain, Portugal and Lithuania”.
The 46th edition of Filo will take place on the 28th and 29th of September 2016 at the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan.
