One of the “Dialoghi di Confronto” of the 58th edition of Filo, entitled “Multifunctional wear: design and performance for a NextGen fashion”, was the occasion to present a clear example of collaboration between companies along the textile supply chain, in the search and development of new products. The protagonists were two leading companies in the world of textiles: Coatyarn and Südwolle Group. Here we report the talk led by Gianluigi Mazzoleni (CEO of Coatyarn) and Alessandro Dalla Pozza (Product Management Team, Südwolle Group Italia). It clearly shows the importance of collaboration to create garments that are attentive to sustainability and capable of combining style to performance, as new consumers demand.
