What is “Made in Filo”? It’s an ambitious project, a unique initiative among international textile fairs, through which Filo has taken on the challenge of “going into production” itself, as a trade fair. The result is a capsule collection of fabric samples made with materials provided by exhibitors. The goal is to demonstrate to Filo’s broad audience the development potential of the materials exhibited at the fair, emphasizing in particular the technical aspects of both the yarns used and the processes employed.

The project is a “virtuous” journey involving all Filo stakeholders. It begins with Filo’s product development proposals, continues with yarns from exhibitors’ collections, and, thanks to processes developed by Filo’s partners, it becomes a fabric collection (the “Made in Filo” capsule collection), bringing the textile inspirations offered by Filo’s product development proposals to life. That closes the loop, fully capturing the tremendous development potential of the premium materials proposed by Filo exhibitors and developed through high-quality processes, such as those guaranteed by long-standing manufacturing traditions.

Filo64 – scheduled for September 23 and 24, 2025, at Fiera Milano Rho, Hall 14 – is dedicating an area of the exhibition space to “Made in Filo”: a specially designed setup will display totems with fabric samples created for “Made in Filo”, accompanied by technical data sheets detailing the characteristics of the yarns used, the final fabric, and the processes used to obtain it.
