Luigi Boldrini & Figli was established in 1946 and is now celebrating its 70th anniversary of its activity for the production of fancy and chenille yarns well worldwide appreciated by the most popular international textile brands.
The firm’s history began with a young and creative Luigi Boldrini who, once the World War II was over, planned and built up at home a small 4 spindles chenille machine by using those rare spares found in the post-poor period.
The original machine was improved step by step and definitely replaced in 1975 by a new system which offered a larger production and a reduced manpower. The new machine got an international patent exploited by the company along the next 20 years.
The 2016 marks 70 years of activity which has linked 3 generations starting with the two Luigi’s sons Roberto and Giuliano and now supported by the grandchildren Tommaso, Francesco and Simone .
Nowadays, Luigi Boldrini & Figli with its tradition, creativity and high technology produces its fanciest yarns by using sophisticated and precious fibers for the most famous international companies.
