Inovafil is a Portuguese spinning mill specialized in the production of tailored yarn for the fashion, home and technical sectors. The company was designed to respond to the constant evolution of today’s global textile market, with a highly controlled production processes, where research and development is at the center of the entire products manufacturing.
Inovafil portfolio proposed at the 53rd edition of Filo includes ecru, melange and blended yarns combining natural, artificial, synthetic and noble fibers. Sustainability has been the core of several yarn developments in Inovafil, working with several eco-friendly fibers, such as organic cotton, recycled cotton, hemp, nettle, kapok, yak, cupro, recycled polyester Repreve, viscose EcoVero, Tencel Refibra, polylactic acid.
Inovafil is certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), OCS (Organic Content Standard), GRS (Global Recycled Standard), Supima, BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) and Oeko-Tex Standard 100. For next edition of Filo in February, Inovafil developed a range of sustainable yarns, like blends with recycled cotton (GRS certified).
