PRESS RELEASE
“Made in Filo” is a fabric collection conceived and produced by Filo with the aim of showcasing
the development potential of the yarns and materials exhibited at the fair to the visiting public. For
this project, Filo collaborates with exhibitors and various partner companies.
The “Made in Filo” fabric collection is on display at the 66th edition of Filo in an area specifically
dedicated to research and innovation. To provide a detailed understanding of the exhibited fabrics
and the process behind their creation – starting from the intrinsic qualities of the yarns and the
manufacturing techniques used to the contributions of partner companies specializing in finishing,
dyeing, and embroidery – Filo organizes guided tours for buyers and trade fair visitors during the
event. The tours are led by the project’s curator, fabric designer Rossano Bisio, assisted by students
from the ITS-TAM institute in Biella.
Filo66’s “Made in Filo” collection draws inspiration from the three parts of “Botanica,” the theme
behind Filo66’s product development proposals. For “Spontanea,” very simple yarns were used to
lend the fabric a more natural feel. “Espansa” embodies the concept of the Italian garden, featuring
intricate weaves and delicate effects. “Ibridata” allows for creative expression, utilizing highly
structured jacquards and much more technical yarns.
Buyers and visitors interested in joining the guided tour of “Made in Filo” can leave their names at

The 66th edition of Filo takes place on September 15 and 16, 2026, at Fiera Milano Rho, Hall 24.
