In Episode 7 of “Con le mani” Francesco Ferraris, vice-president with responsibility for Education of Unione Industriale Biellese, insists on the role of education, linking it with the concept of sustainability.

In Ferraris’s opinion, companies in the sector must include among their long-term objectives the need to bring the three factors – economic, environmental and social – that make up true sustainability back into balance. This will allow to transfer to the new generations the inestimable heritage of Made in Italy know how. And at the same time, it will allow young people to rediscover the attractiveness of working in the textile sector.
