How does FILO Shanghai fit into the strategy for a reasoned growth of the international fair of yarns and fibres? The answer comes from Paolo Monfermoso, FILO manager.
“FILO Shanghai is a good opportunity that we decided to offer our Italian exhibitors – says Monfermoso –. Our aim is always to foster the internalization of our companies: we have been doing so by increasing the attendance of international buyers at the two-day Milan fair, and now we want to expand this project with the direct presence of FILO in a new market like the Asian one. This has been achieved with the collaboration of many actors: FILO, Milano Unica, the important support of the Italian Fashion System and the ICE Agency as well as the substantial backing of the Ministry of Economic Development through the recognition of FILO as the leading fair for made in Italy yarns by the Deputy Minister Carlo Calenda. In fact, all of us have one common objective: to maximize the top quality products of the made in Italy textile industry worldwide”.
