With this issue, the Filo NewsLetter reaches the number 100, a remarkable milestone that rewards the desire of Filo to create a tool that would always keep a channel of dialogue open with all the protagonists of the Exhibition.
Since February 2014, when the first issue came out, FiloNewsLetter’s intent has always been clear: to build a direct dialogue with our readers, first of all Filo’s exhibitors and visitors, but also the professionals of the entire textile-apparel industry and, of course, journalists.
We have done this by publishing news that exhibiting companies send us about the collections they exhibit at Filo and selecting news we consider most interesting to allow companies in the sector to size the best business opportunities. Over the years, we have seen the increase in confidence in this tool, evidenced by data on members – more than doubled from 2014 to today for both the Italian and the English version – and the average of clicks and reading of each news: numbers that fall into full in the band considered ‘successful’ by the metrics used in the sector.
Building on this growing interest of readers towards the Filo NewsLetter and the Exhibition website www.filo.it, Filo has decided to open also to the social world. Now it is now possible to follow Filo through the most popular social networks: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter e YouTube. This is a further way to be always informed on Filo’s news and initiatives, especially in view of the ‘totally golden’ edition of the Exhibition – the no. 50 – scheduled on the 26th and 27th of September 2018.
In short, the dialogue between Filo and the operators will continue to remain intense, whatever the chosen communication platform.
