The Covid-19 epidemic is putting the textile and apparel supply chain to the test. The measures undertaken by the Italian government trying to stop the infection include the block of non-essential production activities.
The majority of the companies belonging to the textile industry is now close: some of them are generously reconverting some segments of their activity to produce protective masks. Despite the dramatic situation, however, we need to look to the future, to be equipped with the right tools to restart once the emergency has gone.
Keeping the supply chain is fundamental: the companies exhibiting at Filo represent one of the first links of a long process; what is happening to the spinning mills affects all downstream processes up to end products. This is why Filo is working for its 54th edition scheduled on the 6th and the 7th of October 2020 at Mico – Milan Convention Centre.
In the meantime, FiloNewsletter is available to show to Italian and international buyers news, core products and bestsellers of our exhibitors.
The exhibiting companies which are interested can send to our editorial staff (firstname.lastname@example.org; email@example.com) a brief description of their most interesting products, together with a photo; we will publish it on next issues of FiloNewsLetter.
