The Filo Capsule Collection is the collection of fabric prototypes made by Filo using yarns from exhibiting companies. It is a perfect example of collaboration between all the different stages of the textile supply chain present at Filo. Many players in various roles have contributed to its creation, first of all the exhibitors: the spinning mills that have provided the yarns to create the project and the dyeing plants with their processes. If the collection is the result of a synergy from producer to producer – or rather of a “dialogue”, according to a terminology long dear to Filo –, however the ultimate protagonists of the Filo Capsule Collection are those who will benefit from it, namely the visitors to Filo.

Designers, buyers, brands and journalists who work within the international textile-fashion system are the privileged recipients of the Filo Capsule Collection, together with universities and educational institutes in the field: a unique opportunity to gather inspiration and ideas for the development of the yarns exhibited at the fair; and a unique opportunity to enter the technical heart of the production process and the textile manufacturing “know-how”.
Not only. During the two days of the fair, Filo organizes two special events, reserved for buyers and journalists, during which the Fabric Designer Rossano Bisio, who curated the project, will guide guests on a tour of the Filo Capsule Collection, explaining in depth its technical contents.
