Filatura C4: New Yarns From Recycled Wool

Filatura C4: new yarns from recycled wool

Filatura C4 was founded in 1962 in the heart of Tuscany and for three generations has been producing completely Made in Italy carded yarns in its Pistoia plant, combining tradition and experience with product innovation and respect for the environment.

In this season Filatura C4 has developed two new collections, in recycled material:
– Recyplus: the first development of 18 melange colours in stock service with a minimum wool content of 90%, more than half coming from the wool regeneration process, currently under GRS certification process.
– Lione: a variety of 48 melange colours GRS certified in 100% polyester, with at least 97% coming from post-consumer bottle recycling.
In addition to the two new collections in recycled fibres, Filatura C4 also offers the classic types of carded wool and virgin synthetic fibres, among which the Ecowool line in 100% “moretta” wool stands out, because it allows to reduce the environmental impact due to the lack of dyeing on the fibre.
