The new Spring Summer 2018 collection by Filati Buratti mainly comprises natural yarns, silk being the predominant fibre. You will find bourrette, shantung and slubby yarns made from Mulberry and Tussah silk and own “Made in Italy” schappe silk which Filati Buratti proudly produce in Biella.
Alongside Buratti’s traditional yarns produced using intimate blends of silk with linen, wool and cashmere, the latest trends for the S/S 18 season include: a very fine silk/linen intimate blend yarn made using the finest available linen tops. This new yarn can be used to create extremely fine fabrics for lightweight summer suitings and casual jackets; a new tussah silk/linen intimate blend yarn made to create a “Summer Shetland” suitable for modern casualwear and sports outfit.
