Exhibitors Guide Book
The Exhibitors guide book is free for visitors, press and exhibitors and available at reception together with the personal entrance badges.
To facilitate matching between supply and demand, the Exhibitors Guide Book describes the core business of each exhibiting company, along with the main features of its yarns and fibres collections, in a two-page space complete with firm’s contacts. Texts are in Italian and English, with additional space to write down notes summarising the meeting.
A map of the trade show (handy to refer to during the visit to Filo), professional magazines advertising pages, a few additional pages to write notes, and a brief preview on the next edition complete the Exhibitors Guide Book.
The Exhibitors Guide Book includes advertising pages (on covers) which companies may purchase to get maximum visibility during and after Filo. Due to the limited number of advertising pages, we suggest interested companies to get in contact with Filo staff as early as possible to book one of them or to ask information, prices and technical details on the adv.
A digital version of the Exhibitors Guide Book is available on line at Filo website – a show open 365 days a year. It is extremely useful to visitors to plan in advance meetings with the most suitable firms and to exhibiting companies to get even more visibility.
The Product Development Proposals and the Trend Book
Months before Filo, two events take place in Biella and in Milan; the aim is to explain the philosophy underlying the new Filo trends and moods for coming seasons. The two events – open only to professionals – are designed to present the new product development proposals through the high skilled suggestions, ideas and comments

Trend Area and Quick Delivery Point
The Trend Area – located nearby the reception – is the place where exhibitors show samples of their new products. It’s a key starting point in the visit to Filo: here, in evocative settings, it’s possible to get a glimpse of exhibiting companies’ new proposals and to get information about booths number and location. In the Filo strategy it is an additional way to facilitate matching between supply and demand.
Located also in the Trend Area, the “Quick Delivery” area shows exhibitors’ ready stock yarns.
A program organized by Filo and ICE-Agency
Filo has been cooperating with ICE-Agency (Italian Trade Promotion Agency) for several years in a program that brings to the trade show a delegation of high qualified international buyers coming from countries (and markets) of particular interest for Filo exhibitors.
The cooperation between Filo and ICE-Agency aims to promote the internationalisation of the Italian companies and to connect them with top-quality buyers and foreigner markets. At each new edition of Filo, the program gives Filo exhibitors new opportunities of businesses, meeting new buyers from different countries. Delegation travel expenses and full board are shouldered by the promoters in order to guarantee to the Filo exhibitors a wide range of opportunities without additional costs.
A recent survey confirmed the effectiveness of the program. For more than 70% of the companies, the visit from buyers from the delegation sponsored by Filo and ICE-Agency has become a real business agreement, with a high level of satisfaction on average both for the high professional profile of the international buyers visiting Filo and the program’s effectiveness. In addition, the survey registers satisfaction for the exhaustive information on the program provided by the organization.

The press office works all the year round to communicate Filo mission and goals and to promote them in the Italian and International press. Among other duties, Filo press office writes the bimonthly Filo newsletters contents and the trade-show press releases and edits press reviews concerning Filo.
Thanks to a high-profile network of Italian and Foreigner journalists, Filo enjoys a widespread visibility in professional and non-professional magazines and media.
During the trade show the press office is located at the Filo Lounge and from this special press room the PO helps International and Italian journalists in their work at Filo and arranges their meetings with exhibitors.
It also releases press releases, images and pics from the show. After every the trade show, the PO edits a press review with reportages from Filo published by magazines, web-magazine or broadcasted by tv or radio stations.
During Filo, European and International professional magazines are available at Filo Lounge and at special “magazines’ corners”.
In the first day of Filo, the opening ceremony set the opportunity to discuss relevant topics about textile-fashion system. Influential and distinguished speakers offer their point of view to exhibitors, buyers and journalists and are open to in-depth discussions with the audience.
