The section “Pronto?Filo!” proposes some short hints with suggestions about yarns and fabrics’ typologies mainly addressed to short-term market. In May, there are three “suggestions” proposed in the video ranging from Casualness, Oversize and The Nineties.
Casualness: easy comfort based on natural fibres. Wool and shetland. Hefty cottons for felted typologies and hefty cloths. Donegal tweed and its imitation on heavy cottons. Mouliné and mottled woollen and blended aspects. Shirting weight in intimate blend made of wool and cotton characterised by melange aspects too.
Oversize: comfort in shapes carried out by using light felts made of micro man-made wool and fleece. Coated and anti-drop cottons and high-performance polyamides for coats. Then, the return to naturals: cotton, linen, wool with man-made cellulosic percentages for average weight jersey and shuttle shirts.
The Nineties: the formal style to be re-considered not just in the light of the Nineties, but also of the fabrics and their “coatings” and brightness/dullness. Fine fleeces and wools, viscose, and silk aspects. Wool and blended creased and crepon. Semi-bright and bright heavy satin and viscose velveteen.
