A brand to identify “Made in Italy”

A distinctive “brand” to identify Made in Italy products on foreign markets: the ministry and the undersecretary for Economic Development discussed about the issue together with delegates of Confidustria and the main associations within production industry. The trade-mark should be applied on goods exported outside the European Union.

The aim of Made in Italy mark is to allow companies producing their goods in Italy to have the possibility to apply on them an anti-forgery mark, including a descriptive sign which guarantees to end-consumers that the goods are originally and effectively Made in Italy. A deep checking activity about conditions and feasibility of technical requirements for companies begin now, after which the experimentation phase should operationally start.
