The 53rd edition of Filo is scheduled for Thursday the 27th and Friday the 28th of February 2020 at MiCo Milano Convention Centre (via Gattamelata 5, Milan) – Entrance from Gate 16 (at the corner with piazza Carlo Magno).
The opening time of the exhibition is 9am – 6pm in first day and 9am – 5pm in the second day.
The Exhibition shows the highest quality yarns aimed to top of the range fabrics and produced by companies that make sustainability, research and innovation their watchwords.
The program of the 53rd of Filo includes two interesting appointments. The first is the workshop that takes place at 5.30pm on the 27th of February 2020 and focuses on “Education and sustainability”. A parterre of highly prestigious speakers will discuss the issue: Carlo Piacenza (President of Unione Industriale Biellese), Marcella Panucci (General Manager – Confindustria), Andrea Crespi (Director for Sustainability, Research, Innovation – SMI), Ercole Botto Poala (President of Milano Unica) Paolo Bastianello (President of Education Committee of Smi), Pier Francesco Corcione (President of ITS Biella), Elena Chiorino (Regione Piemonte Councilor for Education, Training and Labour Policies).
The second workshop is scheduled at 2.30 pm on the 28th of February 2020. The workshop presents a market research on the UK textile-fashion market, with special focus on Brexit issues; it is organized in collaboration with Ceipiemonte.
During the two days of Filo, a delegation of buyers from India, Angola, Brazil, France, UK, Colombia, Turkey, Netherlands, Belgium will visit the Exhibition; the delegation is organized in collaboration with ITA-Agency (Italian Trade Agency). While a delegation of buyers from the United Kingdom, organized in collaboration with Ceipiemonte, will visit Filo on the first day.
